    AJ Lofton — Founder of BrainEscape 369

    AJ started fixing computers in 1990 at ComputerLand in Greenville, NC — before the web went mainstream — applying troubleshooting discipline he'd built as a U.S. Navy Interior Communications Electrician, maintaining the systems that kept ships running.

    That discipline became the foundation of an enterprise IT career built on Windows Server — administering, securing, and troubleshooting server environments for over a decade before the cloud era began. That groundwork carried him into Microsoft 365: managing environments with 2,500+ user accounts, deploying endpoint management across 25,000+ devices, and serving as a Level 3 Exchange Online engineer supporting Microsoft's own Premier enterprise clients. He's built disaster recovery systems for banking and healthcare organizations where downtime isn't an option.

    In 2023, AJ saw the same shift happening in AI that he'd seen with cloud computing a decade earlier — and recognized that AI paired with automation solves the same problem good infrastructure always has: consistency, at scale.
